Leading equipment & furniture manufacturer for spas & salons fosters wellness and cultural awareness locally and globally
MEBANE, N.C.–TouchAmerica, a leading manufacturer of furniture and equipment for spas and salons, has announced plans to expand their CommunityTouch efforts. The mission of CommunityTouch is to partner with community leaders to support sustainability initiatives, community events and nonprofit organizations on a local and global level. The driving force behind these efforts is Aubrey Griffith-Zill, VP of Market Development, who seeks to carry on her mother’s legacy of social consciousness. Aubrey sets a example of social engagement by volunteering her own time in support of this mission.

I’m proud that my daughter, Aubrey, is continuing my late wife Robin’s focus on sustainability and responsibility.”
CommunityTouch is supporting the following organizations in 2016:
Trinidad Youth Trip (a collaboration with Carolina Friends School)
This spring, Aubrey will partner with Carolina Friends School for the fourth year to lead a group of 20 high school students on a trip to Trinidad for The Habitat for Humanity & Orphanage Project. Students from CFS and local Trinidad kids will participate in community building projects, dance, guided meditation, yoga and journal writing.
I Belize in You Project
Aubrey and Elizabeth Trinkaus (PinnacleView.net) delivered 90 of author Wayne Dyer’s Unstoppable Me books to children in the Zion School in Maskall Village, Belize. Aubrey taught an affirmation dance that synchronized the 10 ways to soar throughout life with movement and intention. This project is supported by PinnacleView.net, TouchAmerica and Maruba Jungle Spa & Resort.
Go Conscious Earth
Go Conscious Earth is an environmental organization that seeks to protect rainforests and the ecosystems that inhabit them by partnering with indigenous communities. Aubrey is working directly with the Executive director Godi Godar to bring awareness and resources to this organization through cultural exchange programs.
Just One Humanity
Just One Humanity is a global non-profit organization that supports charities aimed at promoting self-empowerment and entrepreneurship by focusing on education for the underprivileged. Aubrey is working directly with executive director Aja Estro to help supply clean water and shelters for families.
Community Dance Project
Aubrey uses her strong background in dance to teach dance in a way that encourages each individual to their embody their emotions and connect with the people. She creates choreographies that inspire and empower both the dancers and the audience. She is currently working with groups of women in Chapel Hill, NC and Seattle, WA.
