A blog about baseball features a new article about Tatiana Tchamouroff, massage therapist for the Washington Nationals pro baseball team.
The article traces her path from concert-pianist-in-training to the team’s therapist, including her decision to shave her head in order to not be perceived as too attractive—a “liability” that had prevented her from landing a job with a pro sports team.
“I wasn’t there to find love and have a boyfriend,” she said in the article. “It was actually about sports therapy and orthopedic massage and I wanted to prove that point.”
