Update
November 2003
In July a law went into effect requiring massage therapists to take
six hours of continuing education per year to maintain their licenses
to practice.
The CEU requirement was requested by
the state board of massage therapy, and tacked onto a larger bill
of continuing-education requirements for a variety of professions,
including funeral directors, alcohol and drug counselors and nursing-home
administrators.
