Make plans now to attend
On June 28, 2016, the Alliance for Massage Therapy Education (AFMTE) sent a notice to all its members today regarding the 2016 Annual Business meeting, inviting them to attend. Please mark your calendars now for July 14, 2016, 2:30-4:30 p.m. EDT and make plans to attend.
“We are hosting an online annual business meeting in the even years and an in-person meeting during the Educational Congress in the odd years,” said Stan Dawson, vice president for the Alliance.
The AFMTE bylaws state that the Alliance must have an annual business meeting. This online format makes it cost-effective for members to participate without travel expense. The focus of the meeting is to update the members about business and committee work during the past year.
The meeting agenda is to include a financial report, election information, updates on the National Teacher Education Standards Project, the 2017 Educational Congress, association updates and committee reports. They have also allotted time for Q&A so that everyone will have an opportunity for their voices to be heard and addressed.
Please contact admin@afmte.org if you have questions, and click here now to register to attend.
