KING OF PRUSSIA, PA., – July 27, 2010 — Cortiva Institute – Pennsylvania School of Massage Therapy students will provide much needed relief and rejuvenation for participants in this year’s SheROX triathlon set for Sunday, August 1 in Philadelphia.

More than 1,500 athletes are expected to participate in the grueling swimming, biking and running event. Cortiva Institute – Pennsylvania School of Massage Therapy will provide some 20 therapists to assist athletes with post-event massage. According to campus president Jeff Mann, “Following a grueling event like a triathlon, professional massage therapy can provide relief to aching muscle and help stimulate recovery.”

Not only is there a benefit to the athletes. For students, providing massage therapy at sporting events like the SheROX triathlon is a unique opportunity to practice and hone massage therapy skills while being supervised by professional faculty from Cortiva.
