The woman behind it all: Jeanette Falu-Bishop, a massage therapist of 24 years, business strategist, empowerment educator, and former contributor to Massage Magazine — is no stranger to creating impact. She is known for founding a nonprofit that placed injured service members into the care of massage therapists nationwide and for securing federal contracts that embedded massage professionals within the Warrior Games. Her work earned her the President’s Volunteer Service Award from President George W. Bush while she was stationed overseas as a military spouse.

Now, she’s leading a movement to empower massage therapists through visibility, community, and aligned leadership.

“This isn’t just a movie night,” says Falu-Bishop. “It’s a reminder of who we are, what we’re capable of, and why our presence in the wellness space matters more than ever. This is about raising the standard and the volume of our voice… together.”
