Englewood, Colo. (March 13, 2018) – Elements Massage, one of the fastest-growing therapeutic massage franchises in the nation, is pleased to announce it has entered into an agreement with the Cortiva Institute, the largest single supplier of massage therapy graduates in the country, to facilitate job interviews between recent Cortiva graduates and participating Elements Massage franchisees. With more than 240 studios systemwide, Elements Massage anticipates that participating studios will hire up to 2,500 new massage therapists in the coming year to accommodate for member growth across new and existing franchise studios. Collectively, Elements Massage franchise studios across the United States currently employ approximately 3,600 massage therapists.

Cortiva Institute is the largest dedicated massage therapy and skin care school group in the country, offering a well-rounded, high-quality educational experience to its students across 30 campuses nationwide. Graduating more than 4,100 students every year, Cortiva Institute prepares its students to enter the growing field of massage therapy in as little as 7.5 months. “We provide our students with the opportunity to pursue a career as a massage therapist through our unique curriculum, dedicated staff and exceptional training programs,” said Steve Salzinger, President, Cortiva Institute. “By delivering innovative, personalized learning and hands-on industry experience, our students are equipped with the knowledge they need to quickly enter the workforce.”

As part of this newly established arrangement, all Cortiva Institute students will receive a guaranteed interview prior to graduation with hiring representatives from participating Elements Massage franchise studios within a 25-mile radius of their campus. For massage therapists located at campuses not near a participating Elements Massage studio, career services regularly work with students who are relocating post-graduation to connect students with interviews.

“Elements Massage is poised for significant growth over the coming years and we are continually looking for outstanding massage therapists to fill the demand at our franchise studios nationwide,” said Jeremy Morgan, CEO of Elements Massage. “Implementing this alliance with Cortiva Institute allows increased visibility for the Elements brand among Cortiva’s students, graduates, campus directors and career services staff. As the leading institution for hands-on and technical training, we are thrilled to not only facilitate interviews and potential careers to these students after graduation at participating studios, but also support them through their journey from day one.”

The massage industry continues to grow exponentially with demand for massage therapist positions projected to increase 22 percent by 2024 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. A shortage of talented and qualified applicants is something massage studios are encountering nationwide, so now is the perfect time for job prospects to get into the field.

The Elements Massage brand strives to continuously create a healthy, therapeutic work environment for massage therapists, as many franchise studios provide ongoing training and continuing education as well as competitive benefits packages. Elements is committed to fostering a culture that is built upon the appreciation and respect for the physical and emotional demands required of massage therapists.
