Burr Ridge, IL (January 27, 2021)—The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) announced today Christopher Deery, LMT, BCTMB was positively voted through by Certificants to join the NCBTMB Certification Board, as a Practitioner Member, effective March 1, 2021. Current Certification Board Member, Dolly Wallace, LMT, BCTMB was named President-Elect and will assume the President position also on March 1st.

Dolly Wallace’s presidential term is for one year. Christopher Deery will serve a three-year term through February 29, 2024.
The NCBTMB Certification Board is responsible for all aspects of Board Certification, including developing certification criteria and examinations, evaluating candidates for certification, and maintaining the integrity of the certification process. The Certification Board ensures that NCBTMB maintains its status as an accredited certifying body within the massage therapy profession.
