New techniques after massage school ?………it was clear that I wanted to work with those in pain and stress. So I studied NMT and orthopedic massage work – received my teaching certification in those area as well as Swedish. We learn a bundle of information in massage school – wherever that was, BUT, learning truly begins after school is over and we are out in the field working. I’m saddened by the therapist that thinks they’ve learned it all in school and have their routine and that’s enough…..and get their CE’s as cheaply as possible …rarely or never receive bodywork……..they are missing out on techniques and modalities that can transform their work/world and sometimes that of other people also. Sometimes when you experience a new technique you just know that you know that you know – this is work YOU HAVE TO DO…that’s what happened to me with Cranial Release Technique. The Cranial Release Technique (CRT) (www.cranialrelease.com) is a hands-on approach to releasing the body’s inborn capacity to heal and regenerate itself. CRT can be applied in only minutes, yet it has profound effects on overall health and well-being. I am a better health-care provider since I’ve become a CRT practitioner. CRT has changed my health, my patients’ health and also my business. My patients / clients would tell you they are thrilled, and I know it was the best investment I’ve made as a massage therapist. Thanks to Dr. William Doreste and CRT for helping put me in the special group of thriving, successful and passionate massage therapist.
