Where is your state on the re-opening continuum?
Each U.S. state — sometimes each county within each state — maintains statistics pertaining to increases and decreases in COVID-19 cases, deaths, hospital capabilities, testing and more. As each state moves forward with easing coronavirus-related restrictions, we can track local and state statuses and learn when reopening is allowed.
These reliable sources of COVID-19 information will help you keep track of your state’s statistics; phasing and open dates; and regulations for massage and spas:
This online report, “How We Reopen Safely: Tracking states as they make progress towards a new normal,” is being updated in real time by a team of public health and crisis experts, with former experience working at the White House, Department of Health and Human Services, and on the Ebola epidemic in West Africa. “We built this site to track each state’s progress towards the critical interventions needed to stop the spread of COVID-19.”
The COVID Tracking Project features daily updates on texts, confirmed cases, patient outcomes and more, from every US state and territory. Its data is used by organizations including ProPublica, CNN and The New York Times.
State Statuses for Massage Therapists
Each state — and again, sometimes local municipalities — are updating their executive orders and directives about massage therapy on an individual basis.
