On Jan. 28, the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation announced the opening of ticket sales for their most significant fundraiser of the year — the 7th Annual Beauty Changes Lives Experience, including the prestigious Legacy Award Dinner. Held on Sunday, March 31, at The Geraghty event venue in Chicago, the Beauty Changes Lives Experience can be described as “beauty’s most generous evening,” uniting brands, salons and hairdressers to celebrate and empower NextGen talent.
Paul Mitchell to be Honored
The Beauty Changes Lives Experience begins with an intimate influencer dinner honoring the late Paul Mitchell. Every year, a Legacy Award honoree is celebrated for paying their success forward by mentoring, giving back and elevating the perception of the beauty and wellness industry. Paul Mitchell’s son Angus will accept the Beauty Changes Lives Legacy Award honoring his father’s contributions to the industry and support of lifelong professional development.
NextGen Runway Presentation
Following the dinner, beauty’s most iconic brands and influencers will come together for an evening-long party featuring the dramatic and creative NextGen Runway Presentation. Mentors will work with teams of next-generation beauty talent to interpret and present emerging hair, nail and makeup looks. The energy continues on after the runway show, with a dance party (feat. DJ Madrid) and full bar rounding out the celebration until midnight.
Tickets Available NOW
Tickets for the Beauty Changes Lives Experience are $100, which includes an open bar. Tickets are available at beautychangeslives.org. Tickets for the Legacy Dinner are $400 (including the full Beauty Changes Lives Experience) and are also available at beautychangeslives.org. Proceeds from the Beauty Changes Lives Experience benefit the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation and its efforts to empower the next generation of beauty professionals with scholarships, mentorships and inspiration.
Behind the Scenes
Organizers are excited about the event’s move to a new location at Chicago’s The Geraghty event venue and offering guests an extended experience which will last until 12 midnight. “The Legacy Dinner and Beauty Changes Lives Experience allow the industry to come together for both an intimate dinner and an immersive, high-energy celebration,” said Lynelle Lynch, president of the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation. “We are honored to celebrate the legacy of Paul Mitchell and anticipate what the future holds for the next generation of beauty legends.”
The event’s growth each year reflects the Foundation’s mission to celebrate the beauty profession as a first-choice career by empowering individuals with scholarships, mentorship and inspiration. “As scholarship winners succeed in the industry, it is rewarding for the sponsors and brands who make these scholarships possible to see how their generosity is shaping the industry’s future,” said Lauren Conway, executive director of the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation.
