Mark Liskey is the owner of PainFreeMassageTherapist.com where he oversees all content production for CE classes, books, articles and videos. Liskey also is creator and director of makethemostofmassage.com, a free online resource for massage therapists. In his roles, he researches, writes, edits and manages content for the blog as well as oversees reader communications and partnership development. He is co-owner of PressurePerfect Massage, where he serves as director of operations and marketing. In 2017, he cofounded Delaware Valley VEG, and currently serves as the vice-president and as a board member. Liskey graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s of science degree in life sciences. He’s a certified neuromuscular therapist and a licensed massage therapist in P Pennsylvania A. His company, The Massage Institute, is an accredited CE provider approved by the NCBTMB. In 2016, Liskey was asked by the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association to present Delivering Pressure Without Hurting Yourself, and in 2021 he presented his massage body mechanics perspective at the Take Care of You Massage Conference for Massage Therapists. Liskey’s freelance writing credits include MASSAGE Magazine, and other magazines: Massage & Bodywork, Body Sense, Massage Therapy Canada, Massage Therapy Media, Massage World, Runner’s World, Spirituality & Health, Well-Being Journal, and newspapers Philadelphia Inquirer and Buffalo News. In 2021 he released “The Pain-Free Massage Therapist,” a DIY book which offers an alternative perspective to traditional, massage body-mechanics.
