Designation Will Honor Groups or Individuals that Promote and Support Massage Therapy
JACKSONVILLE, FL, July 14, 2022 – MASSAGE Magazine, the only independent magazine serving the massage therapy and bodywork field, announced today its new Massage Champion of the Year Award, to honor one group annually that is engaged in promoting massage therapy and supporting practitioners.
“The Massage Champion of the Year award honors and celebrates organizations and individuals whose accomplishments have positively impacted the massage therapy and bodywork industry,” said MASSAGE Magazine Editor in Chief Karen Menehan. “MASSAGE Magazine’s staff is pleased to have created this opportunity to acknowledge one organization per year for its dedication to our industry.”
The inaugural Massage Champion of the Year will be announced November 1.
Criteria for receiving the award includes demonstrated commitment to furthering massage therapy as a respected component of health care in the U.S.; number of years in existence; and an internal structure that reflects a healthy and competent organization.
The award recipient will receive:
• If a nonprofit, a one-month donation campaign promoted by MASSAGE Magazine
• A feature article that will run both in print and online
• A unique digital logo to display on its website
• Social media coverage on the magazine’s social channels
• The opportunity to present a complimentary webinar
• Reduced rates on professional liability insurance for members and affiliates
• A complimentary eBook to provide to members
• One month of complimentary digital banner advertising
