Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. Winners of MASSAGE Magazine‘s 2013 Student Scholarship Giveaway will be announced tomorrow (Sept. 27) at the American Massage Therapy Association’s (AMTA) National Convention in Fort Worth, Texas. The grand prize of $1,000 cash to be used toward massage school tuition, along with a one-year massage liability insurance policy from Massage Magazine Insurance Plus, will be awarded to one massage student.
Karen Menehan, MASSAGE Magazine‘s editor in chief, will announce the winners via video at the AMTA convention. Menehan will also announce the second- and third-prize winners.
The second-prize winner will receive an Ultimate Business Starter Package from Massage Warehouse, along with a one-year subscription to MASSAGE Magazine. The Ultimate Student Starter Package includes an NRG Chi Portable Massage Table, NRG Grasshopper Massage Chair, Deluxe Flannel Sheet Set, Digital Table Warmer, Messenger Bag, Fleece Table Pad and Face Cover Set, Sporty Cart, Massage DVD, bottle with pump, bottle holster, Massage FX Cream, Biofreeze Sampler and Pedigenix Sampler.
The third prize is a Massage Lubricant Starter Kit from Sombra Professional Therapy Products, along with a one-year subscription to MASSAGE Magazine. The Massage Lubricant Starter Kit includes $250 worth of massage lubricants to get started in your massage practice.
A surprise fourth and fifth prize will be awarded to two additional massage students.
In addition to the video announcement, winners will also be contacted directly to be informed of their win. The Student Scholarship Giveaway was open to applicants currently admitted or enrolled in a massage therapy program in the U.S.
