The company enlisted Austin-based web design and development firm ScriptiLabs to create the new website representative of the company’s unique brand. The developers built the user-friendly, powerful BigCommerce platform with custom functionality. Coupled with mobile-friendly responsive design, Body Bliss’ new site is inviting, clean, and utilizes the latest in website design.
“The launch of the new website represents the last piece in the unveiling of the new Body Bliss branding,” founder Nick James said.
Phase one of the site features improved design, fully-functional ecommerce capabilities and a Body Bliss Blog. Phase two will feature a dedicated professional and wholesale portal, which will allow spa partners to order products online and access privileged information, MSDS sheets and marketing tools directly from the site.
ScriptiLabs developers built a custom solution based on Body Bliss’ needs and branding using this dynamic platform. The homepage utilizes parallax scrolling, the latest trend in design which allows images to move in an advanced, stylistic manner. Each category under “Collections” has specified unique, customized banners and colors to match each product collection. Likewise, each product page is customized to include treatment suggestions and brand specific information and offers site visitors a carousel selection of other, similar products from the same category.
“The site contains a lot of custom coding, which apart from causing us a few headaches along the way, allows more distinctive styling to maintain the unique identity of each collection,” James said. “The parallax Splash Page allows a graphic overview of the collections and our philosophy, as well as highlighting our fusion of priorities: botanical formulation and design sensibility.”
