While massage business chains bring the prices down and more people to massage it also deters more. Anecdotaly, i hear more bad than good in regard to certain precautions massage therapists should be taking, such as with prenatal clients or working within the pain threshold of their client. It is a great concept to discount things for people that have a plan to receive treatments on a regular basis but it is more treated as a quantity or money figure rather than a qualitative experience intended to reward and help those who seek it. Certain chains are regarded rather low in my area for specific negligence they have toward their clients. I would love for the chains to work out and be a good business figure for the massage industry but so far those who have managed to get their hands onto these chains have failed miserably to bring them to their potential.
