On Wednesday, September 23rd, 2020, the Sohnen-Moe Associates Webinar Series for Educators resumes with Deanna Sylvester. Deanna has facilitated this free webinar series for over 6 years, frequently hosting guest presenters who are experts and leaders in massage and bodywork education. Topics include everything from general teaching tips to specific information for hands-on programs in the areas of ethics, communication, business, student services, and more. The intent is to help instructors and administrators provide the best learning environment that they can, and have fun doing it. The series was paused in April due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In this webinar, Deanna will be joined by school owner and massage industry expert, Jill Berkana, to discuss Employment Ethics and How to share Reality with Your Students and Your Community. Jill founded the Berkana Institute of Massage Therapy in 2011, where she remains the School Director, the Academic Dean and provides strategic leadership for the Berkana Institute’s Academic Department.
