Burr Ridge, Ill. (April 15, 2016) – The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) Board of Directors announced today the departure of Leena S. Guptha from her role of Interim CEO, effective immediately.Guptha was offered a transformational career opportunity in the field of education and, cooperatively with the NCBTMB Board of Directors, determined it was in the best interest of all concerned to transition at this time.
Throughout her Board service, Guptha was instrumental in developing new and better relationships with key industry stakeholders. The NCBTMB Board of Directors sincerely thanks Guptha for all of her efforts, and wishes her the very best in her future endeavors.
Together, NCBTMB will continue to move forward and do what is right for the profession while living out its mission of defining and advancing the highest standards within the massage therapy and bodywork profession.
